Filling, Stoppering & Capping Machines

Filling and capping machines are the upstream partner to every freeze dryer. In a typical vial fill-finish process the liquid is dosed, half-stoppered, lyophilized, and then aluminum-capped — and SJ Scientific builds the equipment for each step. As a freeze dryer manufacturer since 2012, we match the right filling technology to your product: tool-free peristaltic pumps for fast changeover and single-use aseptic filling, or valveless ceramic piston pumps for high-precision, corrosion-resistant dosing. Models range from benchtop 2–10 ml units to inline systems running up to 300 vials/min, all built to GMP with 316L product-contact parts. Lower-throughput lines can integrate capping into the filler; higher-throughput lines pair a filling-stoppering machine with a dedicated capper.

Small Food Freeze Dryer

Home and small-batch food freeze dryers for fruits, vegetables, snacks, ready meals, and trial production from 5kg to 30kg per batch. The reason why the capacity is given as a range (e.g., 5-7 kg for the 5H model) is that we use water as the reference substance. Specifically, when the solution placed on the tray has a thickness of 1 cm, a batch capacity of 5 kg can be achieved; if the thickness of the water is 1.6 cm, the capacity can reach 7 kg. However, in freeze-drying processes, a solution that is too thick often makes it difficult to achieve effective freeze-drying (or "hinders efficient freeze-drying"). You can take a look at our older freeze dryer models—their displays were fixed directly on the machines. Let me share a quick story: One day, my 1.32-meter-tall son (that’s about 43.3 inches) wanted to check the screen to see the machine’s status—kids are always so curious about how things work, after all! But the fixed display made it really hard for him to see clearly. It’s just like a laptop: No one would ever want a screen that’s stuck in one position, right?

Industrial Food Freeze Dryer

Industrial food freeze drying is built for producers who need premium shelf-stable food without high-temperature damage. The FFD series covers 50-250 m2 of usable shelf area and approximately 500-2500 kg of fresh material per batch, supporting fruit, vegetables, coffee, meat, seafood, pet food, ready meals, probiotics, nutraceuticals, candy, and high-value ingredients. A good industrial lyophilization line is not selected by batch weight alone. Product thickness, tray loading density, target residual moisture, freezing method, condenser load, vacuum stability, loading workflow, utilities, and sanitation plan all affect the final model. SJ Scientific helps map these inputs into a practical FFD configuration so the equipment fits the production room and the business target.
